About Me
On my time off I love to be outdoors exploring new places and/or just staying active. Either if that's by going bike riding, finding a new bouldering spot, or going hiking I'm most relaxed when outside with close friends staying busy. A good example of this is depicted in the below map. On most weekends you can find me, my fiancé & our dog blazing through a new section of the Appalachian Trail. On hand I often have a Garmin GPS that I personally load with GIS data to help keep us on track. After the hike I'll take my GPS and update the below web map with the newly hiked section. These two factors, the great outdoors and the use of GIS to better enjoy it is why I truly do enjoy this field.
